I, Robert-Paul Jansen of Robert-Paul Jansen Fotografie, take your privacy and security very seriously. Below is noted in the clearest possible language what data I process, what I do with it and what steps I take to protect this data. I process your personal data because you use my services and / or because I have obtained this data from yourself.

I process your personal data to be able to communicate with you during and after the execution of assignments about the progress and to deliver the end result, whereby data is necessary for the execution of the agreement that has been entered into with you. I only process your personal data when this is allowed under the AVG and UAVG and only for the purposes that I have described below.


Robert Paul Jansen Fotografie processes your personal data for the following purposes

- To be able to e-mail, call, WhatsApp or contact you via social media if this is necessary to be able to perform the services
- For the provision of my services and products (online and / or offline)
- To be able to inform you about changes to my services and products
- For the use of photos of you for my portfolio, website and social media, only after receiving your permission
- To prepare and send a quote
- For a bill to propose and send to your payment
- On the blog, data ( name, email address, website, IP address and portrait photo when you use Gravatar) is processed if you leave a comment under a blog post.

How long I keep your personal data 

I keep your personal data no longer than is strictly necessary to realize the goals for which your data is collected. I use the following storage times for the following (categories) of personal data:

Personal: 7 years (legal requirement)
Address: 7 years (legal requirement)
Telephone: 7 years (legal requirement)
Email address: 7 years (legal requirement)
Photos of you: 5 years (order period) unless permission has been granted (for eg use of portfolio / social media) 
Google Analytics: 26 months (anonymous)

Sharing personal data with third parties

I won’t sell your data to third parties and will only provide it if this is necessary for my processors, the execution of the agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

Cookies 

Robert-Paul Jansen Fotografie uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small file that is sent by my website and placed by your browser on peripherals of your computer, tablet or smartphone. The information stored in the cookie can be sent back to my website when you visit the website again. My website uses cookies with a purely technical functionality: cookies are used for the best possible functioning of this website. In addition, I place cookies that keep track of your surfing behavior so that I can offer customized content.

View, adjust or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Robert Paul Jansen Fotografie and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to me to send the personal data that I have in your computer file to you or another organization mentioned by you.

You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for cancellation of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to hi@robertpauljansen.com.

To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, I ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and citizen service number (BSN) black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. I will respond to your request as soon as possible but within four weeks.

How I protect personal data

I take the protection of your personal data seriously and I take appropriate organizational and technical measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, unauthorized modification and other forms of unlawful processing. These measures ensure a level of security that matches the data I process. Think of securing computers, telephones, the website by means of an SSL connection, (external) hard drives, e-mail addresses and social media accounts, with, for example, changing and strong passwords and two-step verification.
